8 ounces sugar
8 g of flour
8 oz butter / margarine (preferably from the Stork marks)
4 eggs.

Mix, line two cake tins with butter and flour (to let the cake from sticking to the tin).

20 minutes Bake 4/180C thermostat. DO NOT OPEN the oven.
When the timer expires, the cake should be regenerated when you press lightly.

Allow to cool and stay with jam / butter, cream, or both. Cream butter, butter mixed with powdered sugar with a little vanilla.

It was the recipe for my nan, and well-known and easy! Enjoy x
